  • Nitya Kaligotla is a lawyer admitted to practice law in India (2014) and is a founding partner of Catalyst Law.

    Nitya represents Clients across various Courts and Tribunals in disputes involving real estate transactions, commercial litigation, shareholders disputes, insolvency, and intellectual property.

    Nitya advises and represents companies, charitable trusts, associations, institutions and individuals across industries including transportation (automobiles, aviation, transport, and logistics), consumer goods (coffee, dairy, and home services), education and hospitality.

    Nitya acts for clients in connection with disputes involving closely-held family businesses. She renders both advisory services as well as representation in legal proceedings. Nitya has been successful in obtaining favourable court orders as well as negotiated settlements.

    Nitya also undertakes real estate advisory services including diligence, structuring of transactions and drawing up of transaction documents.

    Nitya appears in a variety of pro-bono public interest litigation concerning urban planning and development issues and electoral reforms. Nitya also advises the BBMP on various issues of urban management and has been consulted on drafting various policies and regulations.
